HELL RAINING ON THE TABLE! – Binnaz Deniz Yildiz
February 22, 2026
I am in a street – in the heart of the street – grapevines above me and a crimson night…
Bach and galloping horses in my ears… Zigzags in my brain – colorful compositions and Da Vinci
Someone speaks from within me in the void – my eyes are mesmerized – my mind is the core of the world – a dream of fictional proportions
An angel descending from the sky – encircling the chapel, washing us with light – the light on Christ’s brow
The mirror of my smile – a blinding whiteness
Christ is there – the feast – delicious food – the rotating surface of time: On my clumping tongue
The eagle owl wanders through palaces – circling above the table
Voices… Unheard whispers… A lifeless choir – growing dull – a century-old transformation sleeping in the same melody
An honorable creation takes place in my body – for every breath from me is a birth penetrating the flesh and the Virgin Mary. Plates are like objects spinning in the air, in the grip of space – the cut meat is the seven sieves of the world
My breath caught – my breath is slow – what comes out of my mouth is as joyful as a man returning home with flowers
Silence! Suddenly, death wanders around the table in the form of a child
The offered chalice – the holy bread – Christ says: ONE OF YOU WILL BETRAY ME!
Heads turning toward each other… Lost heads… The poison turning to stone on my face!
My fists cut my bitter tears like a knife – I groan like a wounded mare
Take, says Christ. This is my Blood!
And hell falls from the sky, raining down upon the chapel
Frozen forever at the Last Supper!
