Konstantin Raudive Sound System – Wayne Mason

Feedback. The ego shatters, rearranging perception, reminding us we are to become a feedback loop. Prayer never ends. It is a ritual of attention rather than intention. And yet, there is rhythm in the chaos of sound: repetitions, moments of recognition. Sacred industrial artifacts of EVP sessions pulse. Strange architecture emerges, vibrations waiting to be perceived.
Luc Ferrari whispers through reverb.
Noise as prayer is not a metaphor. Even the smallest vibration can dislodge the spirit. Meaning is secondary to experience. Amen. Delay and flange — the hum becomes liturgy, the hiss becomes psalms. Tune the spirit box to static and run through distortion and feedback loops. Static is not words but textures, the spaces between thought. Dissolve the ego in reverb.
Raudive’s radio hum groan call ghost words, voices holy always through sacrament ritual.
Listen to yourself, how the body pulses between stations and sentences fragments like
tapes dissolving.
Every hiss, every buzz, every altar erected in sound. The body vibrates with the unseen. Flesh is alarms, buzzers, bells. It refuses narrative. It persists in the glitches we often try to ignore. EVP sessions become divination: echoes of the dead leaking into consciousness, sentient drum machines murmuring.
The self is a fragile construct. Machines breathe around me. Fingers tap. Tape loops chant. Vibrations, ghost syllables, voices ringing through reverb. Luigi Russolo descends from Heaven with a mechanical groan.
Static. Reverb. The endless chant of noise made holy.
Fragments of structure emerge — patterns bridging the mundane and the sacred. The tape hisses. Electronic discordance pulses with human rhythm. Industrial divination sculpted into form. Prayer is not obedience. It is in the tape loops. It is literal. It is experiential. Raudive turns the radio dial, rearranging syllables, leaking fragments, shards of EVP noise, static. The interference cathedral becomes syllables, frequency carries the machines prayer.
