THE EUTHANASIA OF THE LAST AQUEDUCT – Binnaz Deniz Yildiz

The moon, discharged from its chains, on the crucifix

coal-faced human – serrated vein – the bandit laying down the law

Surrounded by weeping willows – iron lock / the old key behind the doors / slaughter in the archive of guilt…

Whose fate is a chord dripping from the slice of a dark medieval age… The army of my dreams flies by my bedside – their wings a prayer ceremony

Pus flows from the graves of children. A deluge drips into stiff reality. Cells

inside the soil… A black rose ends in the aqueducts

My blurry euthanasia, the memory of naked explorers. A woman undresses in the cold creek bed. Kalila and Dimna in her growing hair. I watch Scheherazade through her fingernails.

Bodies fall from my jackets that tear the night apart

Cumbrous / Striking / Variable

Sand art from the line of a razor on my arm

Your heart /

My pulse beats – on the shore of your pulse / the boats are being burned!

An herbivorous surgeon – unraveling the knots of my darkness

The volume of my head is measured in a chair

My anomaly smirks / electroshock waves…

I learned to wait in my noble solitude

root – cube – cubic meter…

I drowned in the howl of my hyper-tectonic earthquake…

The terror of water… A weapon…

Who? Someone I don’t know… A shadow

The sound snapping in my brain! SI LENCE!

Separate your flesh from your sweat. Stake my ache to your ice nails

MY BODY – BETWEEN TWO LIPS!
